You gotta love society!

The Block schedule used at Hurricane High School in Hurricane Utah is good in theory, but the teachers really don't follow through with it properly. For one, with this block schedule some teachers give students double the work to do at home. When students get home they have loads of assignments from the over expectant teachers classes.
Speaking of which, I am also anti homework, because I don't believe that it really helps anyone understand a concept any better than they could have learned in class. I think that homework should only be done if work is not finished in class. Homework is just a lazy way of the teacher saying "I can't demonstrate this concept to you because I have horrible presenting skills."
What happens when the student doesn't understand part of their homework, and have a question? They can't just keep a personal teacher right at home, now can they? Not EVERYONE has a parent as a school teacher. Considering that these students get out of school at 3 o'clock they don't have all of the time in the world to do these assignments as well as live their own fucking lives. I mean, do these teachers believe that people will go out of their way to do everything they can to waste their time with mindless busy work, that keeps them from sleep, happiness, and the light of the sun? of corse they do! And everyone buys into it, like braindead sheep.
