X-Mas rants

I remember when I was a kid, the little things in life seemed so important. When your crush would smile at you, or if you got that doll you have been asking for, for what seemed years. I remember I was extatic when a holiday came around, even a minor one like St. Patrics Day. And it seemed as if I lived years upon years before I would actually have a birthday. I am still young, and have a large portion of my life to live, but I just can't help but notice how things change.

The years are getting shorter, and the days of working are getting longer. How fair is that? That the inocence that once captivated all of us, and gave us hope and happiness for the remaining years just seems to disapate. Leaving us with our apartments, cars, material possessions, and the mindless dribble of cupidity.

Now it is comming to that time of year when the so called "spirit of Christmas" is wizzing about. I suppose I say something along these lines every year. Sure, I enjoy getting and giveing free stuff...but when I really think about it, it all seems like just another way for the industries to rake in some cash.

That's what all true rebels say, right? What do you think?!!! I mean look at me! AM AM SO GODDAMED IMPORTANT! JUST ANOTHER FLY GOING TOWARDS THE TAPE!!! JUST ANOTHER COBLE STONE IN THE PATH!!! JUST ANOTHER ANYBODY!!! Why does anyone think they are important??!!! HOGWASH!

Anyway, you high spirited little cuties, for the Holidays I would like to suggest some of the best movies out there...But if you are a weird beatnic, artsie fartsie, hippyish creep like yours trully, you will enjoy these movies!
